I loved the book Beyond Eden so much, I've decided to make a website about it.
On top of that, I'm going to speculate on who should play the main protagonists in the book, should the book ever be made into a movie (it would be rude not to!)....
I'm biased, okay? But I'm loving Huey Morgan from the Fun Lovin' Criminals in huge way....WOOF! No seriously, I think that he would be perfect as the lead man Taylor.... Go on peepz, read the book and try and picture him as Taylor and I swear down that it works!
Any ideas on who should play the rest? Gimme some suggestions...
Beyond Eden? Huh? What?
Well, here's the gist of the story for all you free loaders who can't be arsed...Ahem...
Lindsay Foxe is a really geeky kid and her parents are super-duper rich. She has an older half sister who is the bitch of satan. When the sister marries this Italian prince (I didn't know Italy had a monarchy either...), Lindsay has a bit of a crush on him. She's 16 and thinks she doesnt stand a chance. Her parents argue relentlessley and so when her father who hates her suggests that she should go to boarding school, in Conneticut. Lindsay can't wait to escape her hell home in San Fransisco, and jumps at the chance. Any way, her brother in law invites her to a hotal in Paris during half term or something like that. She goes, thinking her rotten sister would be there. She isn't. The prince, taking this oppertunity of solitude with the now 18 year old Lindsay, brutally rapes her.... (i'll leave stuff out as I want you to read it!)
Several years fly by and Lindsay is discovered in NY as a model. She is also absolutely terrified of men...
S.C. Taylor is drafted in by Lindsay's boss Demos, to portect her after some dodgy people made some threats. She has changed her name to simply Eden to stop people finding out about her and her horrible family.
Taylor takes an instant liking to Eden and quickly discovers that he doesnt just want to protect her for money, but for free. He also just as quickly falls in love with her and wants to irradicate the fear she has of men and her family....
I won't go on... it's a thriller and a half with loads of twists and turns that won't let you put it down. I love it though!
Who is trying to kill Lindsay? Will she ever succombe to Taylor? Will her family get what they deserve? Is there a crazy nutter after her? Why? Or a mad Shrink? No, really it is that and better. Better than I can describe!!
